Whispering Pines Farm in Virginia

This is the only green barn and outbuildings I have ever seen. It is located on US Route 11 between Lexington and Staunton. These pictures were taken 4-11-2009

Boswell Tavern, Louisa Virginia

Boswell Tavern is located at the early formed Zions Crossroads in the late 1700s. This tavern was a welcome sight to weary travelers from all corners of Virginia.

We took these pictures this past Sunday. Unfortunately for history this once beautiful tavern is in dire need of lots of repair and restoration.

The following site is the newly formed The Journey Through Hallowed Grounds of important historical sites along Route 15 in west central Virginia.
