Walking to and from Daggart Sanctuary, Marthas Vineyard

Sometimes the  only way to travel a quiet, empty road or path is by foot which we did at Daggarts Sanctuary on Marthas Vineyard

Stanardsville, Virginia

Main Street at the intersection of other pictures. Two nights ago a boyfriend of a woman living in the white house set her on fire. She is in serious condition. The red brick building in the middle is very old (date unknown) as you can tell by the brick color.

Centennial World's Fair 1876 building January 2004 Philadelphia,Pennsylvania

Main Exhibition HallRow homes

We spent a cold January there in 2004 but were lucky to see the Exhibition Hall and archway left over from the famous Centennial World's Fair that took place in 1876. This was a grand celebration of our nation's 100th birthday. There wasn't anyone out and about, so it was cold, lonely roads we traveled on.

For more information and old pictures/drawings of the actual fairgrounds and architects go to  http://www.bc.edu/bc_org/avp/cas/fnart/fa267/1876fair.html

Parker Mountain Road, Rural Greene County, Virginia

This sheep made the loudest bawling noise.
What I am showing today are once again, very old farm building or homesteads. They may seem boring to some, but just like very old original classics are valued by learned scholars: I value these old building simply because they cannot last much longer. A photo is the only way I know to preserve these treasures.
