Parker Mountain Road, Rural Greene County, Virginia

This sheep made the loudest bawling noise.
What I am showing today are once again, very old farm building or homesteads. They may seem boring to some, but just like very old original classics are valued by learned scholars: I value these old building simply because they cannot last much longer. A photo is the only way I know to preserve these treasures.

Greene County, Virginia farms

These above three pictures are from the same farm near where my husband works. The house is beautiful and would work as a bed and breakfast business if the owners ever so inclined.

This above photo is what remains of an original farmhouse, probably from the 1800s. We have watched its demise for 18 years and now all that really remains is the metal roof and the brick chimney. I love these old homes, but not to live in them.
