Driving is rarely fun anymore. In fact, it is tedious and scary. I have noticed some definite changes in driving habits in my years of driving. Maybe some of these negative changes have to do with more cars on the road and more 2 income households.
What I have noticed
1-You always have a tailgater no matter which lane you are in.
2-You had better stay out of the far left lane unless you want to get run over
3-A rare bird drives the speed limit as it is often unsafe to do so.
4-Lane changers are a dime a dozen
5-Motorcycle and Suzukis are scary weaving in and out of cars.
6-If you think driving is bad where you are try driving in NYC on the Jackie Robinson Freeway. You had better be prepared for any and every sort of driver and car or vehicle type. That road is a horror!
7-Public transportation is desperately needed out into the suburbs and people should have incentives to use itl
8-Car travel is for the birds!
