Let's put it in reverse a bit...
At Virginia's visitor center east of Richmond. Blogger standing behind LOVE art.
Virginia is for lovers is the state's slogan.
My husband overlooking the Chesapeake Bay on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel connecting Virginia Beach to Virginia's Eastern Shore southern tip.
Blogger by sign showing the water pathways that lead into the bay. They start in upstate New York.

Father's Day Comfort
We have eaten here before with our son, so decided to go for it again in Richmond, Virginia on the way home from the beach. We both had omelets. Mine came with cheese grits which I let my husband eat. He had a different side. We both had a beer. Later a pimento appetizer was my husband's choice for his Father's Day food fanfare.
Downtown Richmond, Virginia really needs re-investments and renovations as it is slowly dying. This small, excellent restaurant is brave but busy. That is a good sign.
